Die'sire Fancy Edge'ables Happy Birthday Butterfly Card

I recently purchased a butterfly Die'sire Fancy Edge'ables die.  I found some paper with butterflies and used the die to make the edge of the birthday card.

Holiday Gift Card Holders

For four of my grandchildren, I made gift card holders.  Using the same style, I differentiated them by choosing different papers.

Happy Anniversary with Die'sire Fancy Edge'ables - Victoriana

I created an anniversary card for my daughter and her husband--celebrating 14 years of marriage!  I found some double sided cardstock in my stash and then used a Die'sire Victoriana Fancy Edge'ables die to add a fancy edge to the card.  After folding over the card, I used the bird/nest to add some interest to the front of the card.

Gift Card Birthday Cards

My two grandsons were born on the same day--but two years apart.  They are getting too old for toys, so I decided gift cards to their favorite store were appropriate this year.

For the first card, I made a pull out card and attached the gift card to the back.

For the second card, I made a card with a flap and used a punch to make a space to insert the gift card.

"Wish Big" Baseball Birthday Card

My grandson just turned six, and he loves baseball.  I created a baseball birthday card for him that "explodes" when it is opened. The card has a belly band to keep it contained!

An “Impossible” Birthday Card

Directions for the “impossible” card have been popping up on blogs and on Splitcoaststampers.  I decided to do the “impossible” and make a birthday card for my granddaughter who celebrated her 17th birthday.  Using some Stampin’ Up DSP (that has been discontinued), I created a fresh, fun card for my granddaughter!

I wrote my message on the back of the "Happy Birthday" image.  There was just enough room for a short greeting.

Die Cuts Birthday Card

My daughter's favorite color is yellow, so every year I try to include as much yellow on the card as possible.  This year I used two die cuts and embossed the background to add some detail.  I combined two flowers to make the center flower.

Lego Birthday Card

My grandson just turned 10, and he and his family are going to Legoland in Florida.  What could be better than a Lego birthday card!  The card is 4.25" x 4.25" because I used paper "bricks" that were 1" x 1" and 1" x 2" so I would have a small border around the "bricks." I first glued all of the pieces on the card, including the "Wish Big" sentiment.  Then  I used a paper punch to punch out circles and glued them on the "bricks."  Needless to say, the card was a big hit with my grandson!

Baseball Birthday Card

My oldest grandson, who is turning 14, loves baseball, so I thought I'd create a birthday card using some baseball paper I had in my stash.  I found a "fun fold flap card" on Dawn Griffith's blog and I used "Happy Birthday Gorgeous," a new Stampin' Up bundle, for the die cut and stamps.

When the "Happy Birthday" flap is lifted, the "Make A Wish" message appears.  On the inside of the card, I used the "It's Your Day" stamp.  I also made a small envelope for the gift of money that I am sending him.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

A Sparkling Sweet 16 Birthday Card

My granddaughter recently turned 16.  She loves a lot of sparkle and the color purple, so I created a birthday card using her favorite things.  Inside I taped a small envelope so I could put a gift of money inside the envelope.  She liked the card and, of course, the gift of money!
