Easter Cards

It's almost Easter, and here are two of the Easter cards that I made for my grandchildren.

Wishes Come True

Bella Rose has been one of my favorite SU designer papers. Although it's retired, I had enough scraps to complete a card for The Shabby Tea Room's Week 3 challenge.

Supplies included SU's Bella Rose DSP, Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red CS; SU's Heard from the Heart stamp; SU's Kiwi Kiss ink; and ribbon, brads, and leaf stamp from Michael's.

Happiness Always

I created this card for The Shabby Tea Room's week #2 challenge--"Spring Inspired--With Stitching."

I made a patchwork "quilt" with K&Company papers, stitched it on my sewing machine, cut it out with SU's Top Note die, and layered it on more K&Company paper/card stock. The butterfly is from K&Company, and the ribbon and rose are from AC Moore. The stamp is from SU's Whimsical Words, stamped in Gable Green and cut out with SU's Modern Note punch.
