"Round Up" Birthday Card

Like many other paper crafters, I always have problems designing a masculine card.  My son-in-law is celebrating his birthday, and I searched through all of my designer papers to try to find a paper that was not "frilly, flowery, or feminine."  Well, I found a retired DSP from Stampin' Up and decided to use it as I had some solid card stock that would coordinate with it.

I recently purchased a Sizzix Circle Flip-its die which makes circle flip cards a snap to make!  The card flips open to reveal a message on the back of the circle.

Circle Anniversary Card

I recently purchased a Sizzix Circle Flip-its die.  This die makes flip-it cards so easily!  My brother-in-law and his wife are celebrating their anniversary in May, so I used the die to make them a card.  The card flips around "in a circle" with a space for the message on the other side.

In order not to have to cut any designer paper, I found the "Four Seasons" stack by DCWV on sale at AC Moore.  These papers are perfect for the flip card as they are printed on card stock--heavy enough to not require another sheet of card stock as the base.

I entered this card in the following challenges:  Creative Moments--Challenge 17--Circles and Crafty Creations Challenges #222--KISS.
